Our History

George T. Whitfield was a plumber who set up a one-man shop on Station Street in Bancroft in 1948.  He was also the owner of Whitfield Pro Hardware.  Since the ownership change in 1987, the company has continued to grow by expanding into other mechanical fields. Growth and diversification prompted the move to 19 Valleyview Dr. where Whitfield Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is currently located.  After 60 years of serving Bancroft and area, Whitfield is still a name that customers have come to know and trust.
